Contraindications for Madero Therapy Madero

Therapy is a safe and effective treatment; however, it is not recommended for individuals with the following conditions:

• Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Before Your Massage

1. First Appointment Timing
• Your first session will be 15 minutes longer to allow for consultation and assessment.

2. Arrival Time
• Please arrive at least 5 minutes early to relax and prepare for your session.

3. Hygiene & Preparation
• Shower before your session if possible to enhance comfort and cleanliness.
• Avoid applying heavy lotions or oils on your skin before the treatment.

4. Avoid Heavy Meals
• Refrain from eating a large meal at least one hour before your session.

5. Clothing & Jewelry
• Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing.
• Remove jewelry and accessories before the massage to avoid discomfort or damage.

6. Phone on Silent
• Please set your phone on silent to ensure a peaceful and relaxing experience.

7. Cancellation & Rescheduling
• Kindly give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
• Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a fee.


After Your Massage

1. Take Your Time
• Don’t rush to get up; take a few moments to let your body adjust before leaving the massage table.

2. Hydration is Key
• Drink plenty of water to help flush out toxins released during the massage.

3. Avoid Strenuous Activity
• Allow your body to rest for at least a few hours post-massage.
• Avoid heavy workouts, excessive stretching, or lifting heavy objects immediately after the session.

4. Expect Possible Reactions
• Some mild soreness or tenderness may occur, especially if it was a deep tissue or lymphatic massage.
•This is normal and should subside within 24-48 hours.

5. Let Oils Absorb
•Avoid showering immediately after your massage to allow the oils to absorb into your skin for maximum benefits.

6. Continue Self-Care
• Consider gentle stretching, breathing exercises, or light walking to maintain relaxation.
